Neoskitties has some great information on buttons, stamps, blinkies, border images, and other stuff you run into a lot here on neocities
Pixel safari is an amazing jumping off point for finding stamps, gifs, buttons, and all kinds of stuff to decorate your website or profile... seriously, I have shopped for hours and gotten so much joy looking through their directory.
